Welcome Back Arsenio Hall!!!

Image

19 years.  Yessirr!  For almost 2 decades, Arsenio Hall took off from work.  It took winning the Celebrity Apprentice to make him make the decision to come back to late night television.  And he has been missed.

Let’s face it, those of us who grew up watching Arsenio knew that 11:00 p.m. was the time we (Black people) were going to see the musical acts and other Black performers Johnny Carson and other late night personalities didn’t or wouldn’t book on their shows.  Arsenio was responsible for truly helping many young singers, rappers, comics, actors/actresses get exposure that they wouldn’t have gotten.

How can we forget, “things that make you go, hhhmmmm.”  And Woof!  Woof!  Woof!  They became his trademark.

People didn’t forget that .

September 9, 2013, was the debut of the New Arsenio Hall show and he was number one.

I think that people didn’t forget how much fun watching Arsenio in the 90’s was.

He earned it.

WELCOME BACK ARSENIO!

  1. I went to see Arsenio last Friday. It was cool to see Regina King and Tracee Ellis Ross in person. The other guests were Simon Cowell and singer Paulina Rubio. We also were in the third row. Arsenio even came into the audience and joked around with us. It was a pretty fun night! I went home that night and saw myself three times when it aired. I’ll have to go again. 🙂

That was cool, Kushite. I’ve been to Oprah’s show two times(in the nineties) but I got bad vibes from her. She’s not who people think.

      • She has millions of people fooled. She is worshipped like a God. She has become a celebrity guru. But the truth is she doesn’t care about black folks. She is misleading black people by being associated with degrading and insulting films like Precious and The Butler. I wish our people would wake up and see this deceitful woman for what she truly is about. I know exactly what she’s about.

I’m serious, Kushite. That vibe was strong. The friends I went with were all up in her Kool-AID–I wasn’t thirsty.

God always warns us….in strange ways sometimes.

      • Apparently your friends are not as observant as you are. They still have their blinders on.

That’s what is so scary about life. Some people have discernment; while others don’t even have a clue.

  2. Yeah it’s cool to see Arsenio back. I remember watching so many of his shows in he 90’s. He legends on his show like Michael Jackson,Diana Ross,Muhammad Ali and Luther Vandross. Being a fan of hip hop it was one of the few places I could see rappers perform on television. Johnny Carson was not going to have The Wu Tang Clan on his show.lol This is a favorite of mine. I remember watching this interview with Tupac when it aired back in 1993. Brings back a lot of good memories. R.I.P. Tupac
