Shopping While Black…

Image

Last night while watching the news, there was yet another story about a Black person being racially profiled while shopping at Barney’s in New York.

According to this link: http://thinkprogress.org/justice/2013/10/23/2826451/barneys-shopping-black/ the young man was detained for “suspicion of theft” after paying for his items.

Haven’t we heard this before?  Oprah even can’t get a break from it.

A few months ago, one of my co-workers actually experienced being stalked by a white clerk at Nordstrom’s in Miami while on vacation.  It upset her and her daughter so bad; she just left.  Mind you…she could afford anything in the store.

Back in 2011; I posted a video that was from the series What Would You Do?  It highlighted the reactions of white people when Black people while shopping.  Very interesting…

Yet….white folks still want to insist that racism doesn’t exist.

BOYCOTT BARNEY’S!!!

*Rolling eyes*

And less than 24 Hours later it happens again at MACY’s Herald Square to a famous black actor Rob Brown! http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/black-man-sues-macy-cuffed-making-legit-purchase-article-1.1496735

I told you about the white lady who ran across 4 lanes of traffic almost getting herself killed to see if my Chanel bag was real. Actually touching it. If that was reversed I would be in jail for touching some white lady’s handbag. Also the incident at work when the law firm (I worked at) partner’s daughter told her mother some black woman at work had a Chanel bag her mother says “Oh Honey, you know those people buy the fake bags on Canal Street.” SICK BASTARDS!

Maybe this out to be a lesson to us all. DONT GIVE OUR HARD ERNED MONEY TO THE BASTARDS WHO DONT BELIEVE WE SHOULD EVEN HAVE LUXARY GOODS AND THAT THOSE GOOD WERE NOT MADE FOR US!
They believe those good were made for whites only and N***s should not have what’s theirs. Well hell, Tommy Hilfiger even said at one time out his own mouth “he does not design for blacks” and many blacks still wanted to were his street hood preppy gear.

Just look at white folks face when you are walking down the street in your nice clothes. They are actually in shock. Like they have never seen a black person dressing appropriately. They can not believe it. They can’t believe blacks are traveled and well spoken as well. They just can’t wrap their damaged brains around the fact that not ever black is what they see on the evening news and reality shows!

They do NOT want us out of that sub-human box they have us in in their brains. They want to keep looking down on us. It’s like crack. They need us in that position so that they can get their daily fix of racism and superiority complex reinforcement. If they don’t get their fix and you try to rehab them, well you know how people who are forced to go to rehab behave. Like bat ass crazy KraKKKas!

Burn In Hell! And may ALL your stock values plummet!

Yes. I’m familiar with this type of behavior. It takes me back about 20 years. I worked at a local bank that was known to be racist. However, there were some “chosen Blacks” that were selected for window dressing.

I was friends with a personal banker, her name was Cheryl who they were grooming for leadership. In Cheryl’s department, there was this white woman who was absolutely fixated on why Cheryl always wore nice clothes. In her mind; it was peculiar, so much so; she began telling people in the bank that the only reason why Cheryl could dress so well was because her husband was a drug dealer. A DRUG DEALER! Never mind that Cheryl just had great taste in clothes and knew how to shop for bargains. Oh, no!

This is the kind of racism that many white people will deny, but for those of us who have been the victims of it; it’s a violation that requires absolute discernment by us when faced with it.

SMH. That is a form of institutionalized racism where Whites in charge use their power to racially discriminate against Blacks by following them around in stores and other public places out of ”suspicion” and other things as well. No matter how much money we have or economic power, we are always seen beneath them because we are Black and they are White.

Racism=White supremacy=Racial prejudice + Power= oppressed non White minorities and privileged Whites.

You know what I’d do? If that happened to me, I’d pull out my phone and put it on video. Then dare then to continue disrespecting and discriminating against me for just browsing. YouTube mass hits. LAWSUIT.

It’s all about the money, baby! I don’t care if they don’t like me, but I will not be disrespected.
