Back in the 1970’s, millions of white women burned their bras in defiance for being bored housewives. They created a movement basically convincing women that being a stay at home mother was terrible and damn white men for treating them like queens. White women became the trick that convinced many Black women that they didn’t need Black men and for those who were naive enough to believe this lie; the White Feminist movement became the biggest con of all to try and subjugate and dominate Black women in a way that slavery, White Supremacy or Black men never could. The objective: To take her away from the Black man.
For the most part, the majority of Black women never bought into feminism. Black women have always worked and in Africa; the woman was esteemed.
What was the con? The White Feminist movement tricked some Black women into fighting for something they already had: FREEDOM. There is an old cliche that speaks to this: “The only two things that are free in America are a black woman and a white man.”
White women can’t stand Black women–many fear us. However, they don’t mind using Black women, particularly those naive enough to buy into dome pseudo-sisterhood that quite frankly, is the ultimate oxymoron.
What do we see today?
Black men and women at odds. And who’s in bed with the Black man, sistahs? White women.
“During the 1970s, the white woman told the black woman to “get out of the kitchen”, get on the birth control pill, get an abortion and stop having babies; because women should not be “barefoot pregnant, and in a hot kitchen.”
But, 25 years later, these SAME white, Feminists women are now sleeping with black men, cooking for black men, marrying black men and seeking to have half black children….duh!!!!!
This, and this alone proves how black women have been tricked out of their own men by Women’s Lib’ (O.J. Simpson) the same way Eve was tricked by the snake in the Garden of Paradise. This should teach us all a lesson.
A woman’s place is at home; and if we don’t say this, then how will women ever know what their proper place is while Feminists are in the media, all day and night, telling women otherwise?!!
Since black women deserted Black Liberation and black men, white women simply adopted him like he was a poor, lost, lonely stray puppy. This is best typified by the epic movie Jungle Fever.
And after white Feminist women recruited black women into the socalled “alternative lifestyles” of bisexuality, homosexuality, gay marriage, interracial marriage, etc., black men were recruited next!!!”
So, Shonda Rhimes strikes back and gives us Scandal as some type of consolation. Really? A smart, successful Black woman, settling for being the booty call of the President, but never First Lady. Huh? It’s made me start to re-think my support of this show.
Black women are eating it up–and white women have the audacity to say that they want to be Olivia Pope–she’s just exercising her sexual liberation.
Can’t wait for the babydaddy episode. Wonder how that one is gonna go over.
I wrote an article on this blog speaking to the image of our community asking why they are promoting Interracial unions between whites and Blacks; and I started thinking about all of the imagery and political ploys that have been directed at our community over a generation that was designed to subliminally tear the Black family apart. But why? What is white America so afraid of? Does the image of strong, happy, successful, Black people scare white folks that bad. You have to think deep as to the WHY on this one: BLACK POWER!!! And Black unity is a threat to White Supremacy.
Lessons learned. But some lessons have to be taught the hard way.

I totally agree, Soul. That’s a very interesting breakdown. I too feel we have wasted far too much brain power on inconsequential information, designed to keep us distracted but never informed. You have to go deep in search of the TRUTH. The lies that we have been told are being exposed by the Creator. It is not time for Black people to stop wasting our energy on smoke and mirrors and concentrate on our evolution: mental, spiritual, economic, as well as intellectually.

This article is the same, regurgitated routine that is put out there about the Feminist Movement by many Black Americans. There isn’t any proof that Feminism was the cause of the destruction of the Black family nor is there any proof of Gloria Steinem being a spy for the CIA. The destruction of the Black family is due to the actions of Black men and Black women, who refused to actively and effectively plan a stable family structure for their children and subsequent generations after them. Much of the problems facing Black Americans today is due to their lack of ability to take responsibility for their own actions, withstanding institutionalized racism and general poverty that affects many of them.
Contrary to the misconceptions put out there, feminism is not about destroying Blackness or Black people. Feminism is about the social, economic and political advocacy and advancement of woman in society. I know Western Feminism hasn’t done a good job in including women of color particularly Black women in it’s advocacy but there is another kind of Feminism out there. There is a form of feminism called Womanism. Womanism is another name for Black Feminism. Black Feminism/Womanism was created to discuss the intersection of Black women’s oppression in society: race, gender and class. It focuses on Black women’s needs and interests above all and that is why I like it so much. I also suggest reading the Combahee River Collective Statement and doing your research on Black feminists such as Alice Walker, Audre Lorde, Bell Hooks, Patricia Hill Collins and Kimberely Crenshaw. Heck, guess who was the first woman in American history to lecture political matters in public? She was a Black woman by the name of Maria Stewart. I also suggest looking up early Black feminists such as Frances Harper, Anna Julia Cooper and Ida B. Wells.

The reason why Black males are against feminism is because they believe that is it another obstacle that keeps Black women from submitting to them. It is ironic how so many of them want Black women to submit to them while they don’t do anything to guarantee or warrant submission. Actually, I did my research. Just because my response doesn’t fit your narrative doesn’t mean that I haven’t done research. You are just going by what you have heard and taught about feminism. And regurgitating it. Your response isn’t anything that I haven’t heard Black people say about feminism.
According to research that I did, Black women have the highest rates of sexual abuse and domestic violence. For every White woman that reports her rape, 5 of them don’t. For every Black woman that reports her rape, 15 of them don’t. Over 60% of Black girls are sexually abused by age 18. Interpartner domestic violence is the leading cause of death for Black women between the ages of 15 and 35. Black women are 2.5 times much more likely to be murdered than a White woman. Also pregnant Black women are 11 times more likely to experience matricide than White women Majority of these crimes are committed by Black males because most crimes committed are intra racially.
To tell you the truth, the whole Black liberation thing doesn’t include Black women either. Black liberation is only about Black males liberating themselves from White patriarchal system. Black males want their masculinity recognized and have the power to maintain dominance over women particularly Black women. Black women will still suffer under a Black patriarchal rule because we will have to deal with sexism, colorism and violation of our bodies. I also suggest reading Eldridge Cleaver’s passages from the book, Soul on Ice. He calls Black women Nigger bitches while putting White women on a pedestal. This whole pro Black, Black liberation is about the Black male replacing the White male as face of power while subjugating Black women to an subordinate position.
However, I understand your point about mainstream feminism. I do agree that mainstream feminism hasn’t done a great job of including Black women in it’s advocacy for women’s rights. In fact, many of the White women in these spaces want to replace the White man as the face of power just like the Black males in pro Black spaces do. Often times, it leaves Black women out of the equation just like pro Black, conscious spaces do.
Black Feminism was formed because Black women wanted to address the needs that they uniquely face. Many Black women faced sexism in many Civil Rights organizations namely the Southern Christian Leadership. And Black women faced racism in feminist spaces as well. So Black women felt it was necessary to form their own coalition that addressed the issues of race, gender and class oppression and how it affected Black women. Black women’s struggle and White women’s struggle isn’t the same thing. White women go through sexism while Black women go through both racism and sexism. Black Feminism is about advocating for the rights and fair treatment of Black women in society. The Combahee River Collective Statement clearly states this.

Black feminists are fighting for Black women to have their humanity recognized and be treated fairly. Black feminists are tired of Black women’s needs and issues being put on the back burner in the ”Black Community”(I use it loosely because there is no such thing) for a so called revolution, that will never happen. Black Feminists are also tired of mainstream media overlooking Black female victims of rape, domestic violence or gone missing for the ”pretty”, blond girl by the likes of Elizabeth Smart etc. Well, I would like all of that to change and have Black women’s issues addressed and solved for the betterment of Black women’s lives.
It is a pity that you don’t value Black womanhood or yourself enough to center issues Black women face on your blog.

Sweetie, I don’t know your life. Most of the problems faced by black women are caused by the system engineered to put down all non-whites especially black people. I don’t blame black people for their problems. But I can re-assure you that African men really love and appreciate black women. Our agenda includes black women as well. Because the black man’s only ALLAY is–the black woman. Foreign women such as white women and other non-black females aren’t our friends. Read more about African history and you’ll be AMAZE how we African men place our women on a PEDESTAL.
It seems like you’re one of those disillusioned black women that were seriously hurt by black males. Now, you’re seeking comfort either in the Wolf (white males/ white supremacy) or the Fox (white females/feminism). Why give up on the black man and pledge your womb and allegiance to the system that was created through the genocide, rape and exploitation of our ancestors?
I don’t know much about the feminist movement, but it is a power struggle between Caucasians. Like all white- sponsored organisations they use black people as leverage or collateral assets (e.g. LGBT movement).

Usually I read the responses before posting my own. Perhaps someone else raised this point: while I am in no position to defend feminism, at least I know what it is. I suggest you do a little research and reading about the feminist movement before you try to suggest it’s relationships to Black women. Feminism was established in this country long before the 1970s and your reference to burning bras demonstrates how little you know about the movement. As a Black man who has studied feminism, I am well familiar with the (Black) womanist critiques of feminism. Your piece only pays scant attention to these critiques. I can only suggest you read bell hooks, Patricia Hill Collins as a start.

You are talking about Western/mainstream Feminism. I agree that Western Feminism isn’t very inclusive to women of color especially Black women when it comes to it’s advocacy. However, there are other kinds of feminism out there that does relate to women of color such as Black Feminism/Womanism. Patricia Hill Collins and Bell Hooks are Black Feminists/Womanists that he suggested you read. I also suggest you research these authors too. Reading their works will open your eyes to the complete ramifications and struggles that comes with being a Black woman in this society.

They reached this point in the mid nineties. It literally means that more white people are dying than are being born. In less than a generation–or sooner, they will for the first time in this country’s history, be the minority population. When they want to have sex with Black men and women–it’s to preserve their genes. That’s what any species does when it’s been naturally selected for extinction.

Plenty of Black males use Black women as sex objects and cum dumpsters too. Why else do you think the out of wedlock birth rate in the Black collective is 73%. And 92% of biracial children with Black fathers are born out of wedlock. Statistically speaking, White and non Black men are much more likely to marry the mothers of their children than Black males are.

The lie is that men and women are equal. This is false. Since I am a product of such a relationship that you despise so much (my parents have been happily married for over 50 years, because they are in a committed relationship without regard to skin color or religion or any such nonsense), I think I might be able to shed some light on what you consider a conspiracy of white feminism to “take your men away”. I am quite sure that when my parents fell in love (at a time when it was illegal in most states for them to marry), it was not my mother’s intention to “take a black man away from women in the black community”. She saw a man who she could make a life with. And my father saw a woman he could make a life with. You seeing yourself of the victim of a non-existent conspiracy. People will marry the people they love, sleep with the people they are attracted to, and stay away from the people they don’t like.
The things you say are just as exclusive as the things white supremacists say. Try rewriting your blog and replacing “black” with “white” in strategic spots and you will have the writings of a white supremacist male railing against feminism. I don’t think you really want to be in that same neighborhood.

Just saying – white Republicans really wanted black families to prosper in post Jim Crow era (remember it was the Democrats that did all the really racist stuff for the most part) – then Jewish feminists started 2nd and 3rd wave feminism. The reality is that white feminism was about equal participation in civil society. Jewish feminism specifically targeted the family and decided it must be destroyed. It started with Betty Friedan.

I can’t even tell you the number of unconstructive conversations I’ve with people on feminism and how it help destroy the Black family. People get downright indignant when you even suggest anything contrary to their beliefs. I’ve been told that I’m part of a rape culture that just wants to devalue women. And this comes from women who are more than likely gay and can’t stand men. I just don’t even try anymore.

Main crux of the story- White liberals have a scorpion effect. They pretend to care, talk about equality and all that BS yet at the end of the day, they profit from their whiteness just like white conservatives. Any black person who trusts white liberals will indeed feel that scorpion sting. My diverse and liberal hometown of New York is a great example!

I remember a history class I took within the first or second semester of my early college years in which we were studying the women’s suffrage movement that predated the feminist movement. As you know in that movement white women fought for to the right to vote and to run for and hold public offices. One statement the professor stated that stood out to me was one of white womens’ biggest arguments was that white men allowed black men, former slaves to vote instead of their own women. Translation: You allow these “inferiors” to vote before you allow your own women to vote, how dare you white man! That alone should tell any black man that white women DO NOT CARE OR NEVER CARED about black men at all, except for a human dildo.
In addition, white women only cared to gain their own right to vote and did not care whether black women should vote or ever take part in the voting process. White women try to continuously play the sexism victim card, but I do not think that it is working as it once did because from what I’ve seen more black men and women aren’t buying it anymore. Anyone who begin to take a deeper look will see that white women are not victims at ALL, but are white men’s CO-CONSPIRATORS and the NUMBER ONE BENEFICIARIES of the system of Racism (White Supremacy).

You nailed it.
White women only care about their tiny, imature, problems (white men too). They will do or say nothing about how women are treated elsewhere. Capitalism (a glorious white invention) has led to discrimination of both gender and race to keep some people wages low. The western white world has on purpose destabilized countries in Africa, North-Africa and Middle-East to steal the ressources (the African Continent is the richest one in term of ressources). Just look at Irak : Prior to the arrival of forces in Iraq in 1991, Iraqi women were free to wear whatever they liked and go wherever the chose. The Iraqi constitution of 1970 gave women equality and liberty in the Muslim world, but since the invasion, women’s rights have fallen to the lowest in Iraqi history. Congrats white people !

Okay, they claim to love brothas so much, but don’t want their colored babies to be black? Is their envy of sistas so strong, that, it makes them hate their own children? Again, these women are the odd woman out. I can imagine it makes them feel some type of way. Regardless of how they may feel, it’s sick and demonic to lay down with blackmen under false pretenses. So, they hate both of us…More or Less? I’ve warned blackmen for years about these women, negros are pig-headed. A lot of the bs that we go thru as a people is directly or indirectly related to white female racism…Bottomline! Honestly, the world would be a much better place without them. I’ve been believing that white women’s chase and capture of black meat today is for the most part GET BACK for all those hundreds of years of white men lusting after, raping, (no fault of our or our foremothers own), cohabiting, marrying, having children with, and perferring sex with (9 times out of ten not love ) for black women all under white womens’ “superior” little noses. White women got an axe to grind with white men and black women (again, most of the time not our fault their men couldn’t keep their fithly paws off us). You said, “Is their envy of sistas so strong, that, it makes them hate their own children?” I would say YES because the swirling and and having children with black men is as one of my counter-racist sista bloggers say “taking part in a SILENT competition with black women.” But they ain’t foolin many of us sistas, we see through the bullshit. I notice how many of them marry, sex, have children with, etc with black men but are still not satisfied. Why is that we ask? Because all that still does not bring them NOWHERE close to being a BLACK WOMAN. I come to find Black men/boys who are involved with these SHE-DEVILS have to learn the hard way, you can’t tell em nothin! Then when shit gets bad they wanna cry and bitch.lol. I mean when you dance and sleep with the devil what do you expect?

Tyrone, if you scan my blog–in its entirety, the commentary I’ve made is educational. It’s not race baiting in as much as it is reporting. I’ve stated from the beginning that I will not tolerate white racists on my blog–not at all–and I’m banned many. However, a few clueless Becky’s and Opi’s get through trying to infuse that “We are the world…” crap. Not buying into it. Don’t want it. And they know what they can do with it.

Yep! I’ve known this for years. Good Cop/Bad Cop is the game they play. Lust blackmen for sexual gratification, but, hate you and other sistas due to jealousy….Volatile Mix! As a Black woman, I will admit, it was the Black woman’s biggest mistake buying into feminism because it tore the Black family apart. Black women had no business joining feminism because it was a movement for White women who wanted social and economic equality with their White male counterparts. Also Black women were NEVER under the domination of their own men the way White women were. Thus Black women had no business joining feminism and the ones who did got screwed over because it was never about Black women or Black people.

I believe that you only had a minority of black women who really actually followed up on the feminist movement. I never heard my mom, grandmothers, aunts, cousins, friends, and most black women I know and are aquainted with go around talkin about black men “oppressing” them. I always thought that would be foolish for a black woman to say. I always knew from the time I was young that feminism was white woman mess. You said, “It was a movement for White women who wanted social and economic equality with their White male counterpart.” I would also add that it was a movement so that they could gain equal power as white males to weld global white supremacy terror over non-white people. Lol
