There are days when I wish this subject would just go away, but when you continue to see prominent Black men, as well as regular brothers, continuing the cycle of enslavement in their dating preferences for non-Black women; are intelligent Black women supposed to continue tolerating the disrespect or are we to confront the mentality of why so many Black men choose non-Black women as mates?
Black women are not having their husbands killed for insurance money–as many noted criminal cases expose about white men and women. Just reference current segments on Dateline, 48 hours and other news shows within the last 20 years.
A marriage is a financial institution. If Black men have been denied employment by white males; who does this impact most? The Black community, and yet, you think marrying a white woman will solve your problem? Really? By whose math?
Yet, Black men who date or marry non-Black women always preface an excuse of displeasure in the way Black women act for having no choice but to choose these women as mates. Is this a subconscious statement: “I’m only with ‘her’ because the one I really want to be with won’t act right?”
The truth of the matter is, Black men who make a conscious choice to discriminate against Black women romantically are making a strong political statement. They have bought into White Supremacy and are using the Black woman as a scapegoat for their mental weakness. For whom you choose to love; is the boldest statement of how you feel about yourself. The Bible terms all married couples as being “one flesh”. Thus, how in the world does a Black man fuse himself with a woman that is the emblem of white hate? She is the catalyst of lynchings for the Black man–whom he was taught to worship, via laws keeping the races apart, all the while, the one that has been promoted by white males, as being the “object of desire” above all races of women. And where are they learning this? The media. And in the home. Yes. Black parents who do not teach their children Black history are literally giving their children, particularly their male children the message that: white is better. Basically, you’re worshiping the very people that have oppressed and continue to oppress and murder Black people, particularly Black males every single day.
It’s called Divide and Conquer and Black men who engage in interracial marriage are White Supremacist by proxy. Don’t say that you’re not because you fell for it hook, line, and sinker. And the men who have been bamboozled into thinking that white women are easier to get along with, don’t realize that you’re in bed with a wolf with lipstick. They have no clue that they are being victimized, although being allowed to take a bite from the forbidden fruit. It is ridden with worms; and in time, will destroy the insides of the man who wasn’t wise to inspect his apple.
It’s offensive to Black people, but particularly Black women, because it is the ultimate symbol of self-hatred and idiocy. Many Black men suffer from an identity crisis and their choice of woman is proof of that. You see it in many wealthy Black men. How many are married to white women? A lot. Why? There’s something unusual about this. If a Black man exclusively dates/marries a white woman; he is saying that “I can’t be the white man, but I can have what he values above all else in order to be racially esteemed”. Ultimately, this type of man has bought into white supremacy; thus, the woman he wakes up to each morning both confirms his racial inferiority; and cure for having Black skin–in his mind. This Black man condemns coming from a Black womb. Everything around him negates The Black Experience. His white wife/girlfriend doesn’t hold him accountable if another Black boy gets shot. She soothes his anxiety to be concerned about our community because everything she comes from entitles her. She never gives him any static about being racially conscious because it doesn’t affect the white community that she was birthed from. You can learn a lot about a Black man by whom he chooses to marry. You can not be in love with a white woman and try to convince the Black community that your loyalty is with the Black race. That is a lie. Your choice of a mate is more political than it is romantic. Such a man has a divided consciousness. It is an illusion.
This is no anomaly.
I’m sorry, but I’m calling Black men out. You are traitors to your own mothers as well as your genes. You are in counterfeit relationships and are not the substitute for the African American family. Interracial marriage/co-habitation with children is nothing more than racial genocide and Black men are perpetrating it on your own people willingly. However, the white man is guiltless because in his sick mind; you’re allowing it, thus, he can’t be blamed, because fucking unwanted white women is far cheaper than paying reparations. It’s all about white genetic survival.
It is my opinion that All Black men need a spiritual conversion for the one you think is on your side, will inevitably be the one that can destroy you.
There is no comparison to the Black woman and the only thing Black women and white women have in common is gender.

Being from ATL and living in San Diego…I have found some very unaware African American men who truly believe that there is no racism, because they are in high demand by white women. I had never been exposed to such ignorance.
A black male co-worker came into the break room at work and announced…”I don’t date black women” and proceeded to list why in front of several white women. I was the only black woman in the department.
I was not hitting on him; I was not attracted to him, I hadn’t even asked him about his 4 ft. Pug looking white wife. I have no idea why he felt that comment was necessary. I later found out from 2 other brothers that he was hitting on one of the white chicks, she was a 2 and mildly mentally challenged…they asked him if he was crazy.
So, to impress her he wanted to negate me…He wanted a mildly retarded, butterball turkey to feel that she was better than me…That was unreal.
I think he was watching my round, tight bottom and had to bring himself back to “his” reality…
From that day he never even got a good morning and always wanted to know why. I let the other guys tell him.

Most so-called black men marry black women, so this is really about prominent or highly visible men. People need to be honest about that.
Also, women bare some responsibility for accepting the offspring as “black”. Children born of white mothers should be described as “white.” That means no accepting Mariah Carey, Hale Berry, Jasmine Guy, or Melissa Perry as “black” women. They are “white” women. Also, Tiger Woods has nothing to do with us. his mama is Thai. So he is Thai. Therefore what he marries is none of our business.
When so-called black women stop taking the children of foreign women into their bosom. Black men will get the picture that they have just ostracized themselves from their people and are either white themselves or homeless. If ostracizing themselves from their people doesn’t matter to them it is of no consequence. Take what you got and move on.

SUBJECT: Black Africa and the U.S. Black Movement
The President has directed that a comprehensive review be made of current developments in Black Africa from the point of view of their possible impacts on the black movement in the United States. The review should consider:
1. Long-term tendencies of social and political developments and the degree to which they are consistent with or contradict the U.S. interests.
2. Proposals for durable contacts between radical African leaders and leftist leaders of the U.S. black community.
3. Appropriate steps to be taken inside and outside the country in order to inhibit any pressure by radical African leaders and organizations on the U.S. black community for the latter to exert influence on the policy of the Administration toward Africa.
The President has directed that the NSC Interdepartmental Group for Africa perform this review. The review should be forwarded to the NSC Political Analysis Committee by April 20.

BLACK AFRICA AND THE
U.S. BLACK MOVEMENT
Objective of our policy toward Black Africa is to prevent social upheavals which could radically change the political situation throughout the area. The success or failure of our policy in the region depends on the solution international and internal issues whose importance of the United States is on the increase.
II. A. U.S. INTERESTS IN BLACK AFRICA
A multiplicity of interests influences the U.S. attitude toward black Africa. The most important of these interests can be summarized as follows:
1. POLITICAL
If black African states assume attitudes hostile to the U.S. national interest, our policy toward the white regimes; which is a key element in our relations with the black states, may be subjected by the latter to great pressure for fundamental change. Thus the West may face a real danger of being deprived of access to the enormous raw material resources of southern Africa which are vital for our defense needs as well as losing control over the Cape sea routes by which approximately 65% of Middle Eastern oil is supplied to Western Europe.
Moreover, such a development may bring about internal political difficulties by intensifying the activity of the black movement in the United States itself.
It should also be borne in mind that black Africa is an integral part of a continent where tribal and regional discord, economic backwardness, inadequate infrastructures, drought, and famine, are constant features of the scene. In conjunction with the artificial borders imposed by the former colonial powers, guerilla warfare in Rhodesia and widespread indignation against apartheid in South Africa, the above factors provide the communist states with ample opportunities for furthering their aims. This must necessarily redound to the detriment of U.S. political interests.
2. ECONOMIC
Black Africa is increasingly becoming an outlet for U.S. exports and investment. The mineral resources of the area continue to be of great value for the normal functioning of industry in the United States and allied countries. In 1977, U.S. direct investment in black Africa totaled about $1.8 billion and exports $2.2 billion. New prospect of substantial profits would continue to develop in the countries concerned.
IV. BLACK AFRICA AND THE U.S. BLACK MOVEMENT
Apart from the above-mentioned factors adverse to U.S. strategic interests, the nationalist liberation movement in black Africa can act as a catalyst with far reaching effects on the American black community by stimulating its organizational consolidation and by inducing radical actions. Such a result would be likely as Zaire went the way of Angola and Mozambique.
An occurrence of the events of 1967-68 would do grievous harm to U.S. prestige, especially in view of the concern of the present Administration with human rights issues. Moreover, the Administration would have to take specific steps to stabilize the situation. Such steps might be misunderstood both inside and outside the United States.
In order to prevent such a trend and protect U.S. national security interests, it would appear essential to elaborate and carry out effective countermeasures.
1. Possibility of Joint Action By U.S. Black and African Nationalist Movement.
In elaborating U.S. policy toward black Africa, due weight must be given to the fact that there are 25 millions American blacks whose roots are African and who consciously or subconsciously sympathies with African nationalism.
The living conditions of the black population should also be taken into account. Immense advances in the field are accompanied by a long-lasting high rate of unemployment, especially among the youth and by poverty and dissatisfaction with government social welfare standards.
These factors taken together may provide a basis for joint actions of a concrete nature by the African nationalist movement and the U.S. black community. Basically, actions would take the form of demonstrations and public protests, but the likelihood of violence cannot be excluded. There would also be attempts to coordinate their political activity both locally and in international organizations.
Inside the United States these actions could include protest demonstrations against our policy toward South Africa accompanied by demand for boycotting corporations and banks which maintain links with that country; attempts to establish a permanent black lobby in Congress including activist leftist radical groups and black legislators; the reemergence of Pan-African ideals; resumption of protest marches recalling the days of Martin Luther King; renewal of the extremist idea national idea of establishing an “African Republic” on American soil. Finally, leftist radical elements of the black community could resume extremist actions in the style of the defunct Black Panther Party.
Internationally, damage could be done to the United States by coordinated activity of African states designed to condemn U.S. policy toward South Africa, and initiate discussions on the U.S. racial issue at the United Nations where the African representation constitutes a powerful bloc with about one third of all the votes.
A menace to U.S. economic interests, though not a critical one, could be posed by a boycott by Black African states against American companies which maintain contact with South Africa and Rhodesia. If the idea of economic assistance to black Americans shared by some African regimes could be realized by their placing orders in the United States mainly with companies owned by blacks, they could gain a limited influence on the U.S. black community.
In the above context, we must envisage the possibility, however remote, that black Americans interested in African affairs may refocus their attention on the Arab-Israeli conflict. Taking into account; the African descent of American blacks it is reasonable to anticipate that their sympathies would lie with the Arabs who are closer to them in spirit and in some case related to them by blood. Black involvement in lobbying to support the Arabs may lead to serious dissention between American black and Jews. The likelihood of extremist actions by either side is negligible, but the discord may bring about tension in the internal political climate of the United States.
3. Political options
In the context of long-term strategy, the United States can not afford a radical change in the fundamentals of its African policy, which is designed for maximum protection of national security. In the present case, emphasis is laid on the importance of Black Africa for U.S. political, economic and military interests.
RECOMMENDATIONS
In weighing the range of U.S. interests in Black Africa, basic recommendations arranged without intent to imply priority are:
1. Specific steps should be taken with the help of appropriate government agencies to inhibit coordinated activity of the Black Movement in the United States.
2. Special clandestine operations should be launched by the CIA to generate mistrust and hostility in American and world opinion against joint activity of the two forces, and to cause division among Black African radical national groups and their leaders.
3. U.S. embassies to Black African countries specially interested in southern Africa must be highly circumspect in view of the activity of certain political circles and influential individuals opposing the objectives and methods of U.S. policy toward South Africa. It must be kept in mind that the failure of U.S. strategy in South Africa would adversely affect American standing throughout the world. In addition, this would mean a significant diminution of U.S. influence in Africa and the emergence of new difficulties in our internal situation due to worsening economic prospects.
4. The FBI should mount surveillance operations against Black African representatives and collect sensitive information on those, especially at the U.N., who oppose U.S. policy toward South Africa. The information should include facts on their links with the leaders of the Black movement in the United States, thus making possible at least partial neutralization of the adverse effects of their activity.
V. TRENDS IN THE AMERICAN BLACK MOVEMENT
In connection with our African policy, it is highly important to evaluate correctly the present state of the Black movement in the United States and basing ourselves on all available information, to try to devise a course for its future development. Such an approach is strongly suggested by our perception of the fact that American Blacks form a single ethnic group potentially capable of causing extreme instability in our strategy toward South Africa. This may lead to critical differences between the United States and Black Africa in particular. It would also encourage the Soviet Union to step up its interference in the region. Finally, it would pose a serious threat to the delicate structure of race relations within the United States. All the above considerations give rise to concern for the future security of
the United States.
Since the mid-1960s, when legislation on the human rights was passed and Martin Luther King murdered, federal and local measures to improve black welfare have been taken, as a result of which the U.S. black movement has undergone considerable changes.
The principle changes are as follows:
*Social and economic issues have supplanted political aims as the main preoccupations of the movement. and actions formerly planned on a nationwide scale are now being organized locally.
*Fragmentation and a lack of organizational unity within the movement.
*Sharp social stratification of the Black population and lack of policy options which could reunite them.
*Want of a national leader of standing comparable to Martin Luther King.
B. THE RANGE OF POLICY OPTIONS
The concern for the future security of the United States makes necessary the range of policy options. Arranged without intent imply priority they are:
(a) to enlarge programs, within the framework of the present budget, for the improvement of the social and economic welfare of American Blacks in order to ensure continuing development of present trends in the Black movement;
(b) to elaborate and bring into effect a special program designed to perpetuate division in the Black movement and neutralize the most active groups of leftist radical organizations representing different social strata of the Black community: to encourage division in Black circles;
(c) to preserve the present climate which inhibits the emergence from within the Black leadership of a person capable of exerting nationwide appeal;
(d) to work out and realize preventive operations in order to impede durable ties between U.S Black organizations and radical groups in African states;
(e) to support actions designed to sharpen social stratification in the Black community which would lead to the widening and perpetuation of the gap between successful educated Blacks and the poor, giving rise to growing antagonism between different Black groups and a weakening of the movement as a whole.
(f) to facilitate the greatest possible expansion of Black business by granting government contracts and loans with favorable terms to Black businessmen;
(g) to take every possible means through the AFL-CIO leaders to counteract the increasing influence of Black labor organizations which function in all major unions and in particular, the National Coalition of Black Trade Union and its leadership including the creation of real preference for adverse and hostile reaction among White trade unionists to demands for improvement of social and economic welfare of the Blacks;
(h) to support the nomination at federal and local levels of loyal Black public figures to elective offices, to government agencies and the Court.
This would promote the achievement of a twofold purpose:
First, it would be easier to control the activity of loyal black representatives within existing institution;
Second, the idea of an independent black political party now under discussion within black leadership circles would soon lose all support.

So the first step I’m taking is to stop pretending like this isn’t my issue or my problem, because it is, it’s everyone’s… because the California teenager who was harassed and killed by his classmates for being gay, the teenage blogger in Pakistan who was shot on her school bus for speaking out in favor of women’s rights, the boy in Florida who was wrongly accused of committing a crime and ultimately killed because of the color of his skin, they are all someone’s son and someone’s daughter and it is our responsibility to give them a voice and speak out for those who can’t and hopefully in the process, ensure that hate is something our children never have to see.”

I grew up in Chicago–and I thank God. Black folks from other places seemed to be extremely mixed up in the head and take things from other groups that people in my community absolutely would not tolerate. Its’ a great place with strong African American history. The city was founded by a Black man, Jean Baptiste DuSable.

I’ve realized over the course of time that our own people hate us the most. Regardless of white media and it’s reach, no white man or woman can pressure any blackman into kissing their behinds. England is a vivid example of what this is all about. West-Indian(Jamaican) have decided to become whitemen by choice. Some news reports say 48% and some say 50%. Among this group of race-traitors, Rastafarians comprise a sizeable number of the peanut gallery. Mind You, Jamaicans have always bragged about the island being a melting pot, diverse, etc. None of this is new, been happening for years. But, we don’t like to criticize other blacks for stupidity. In America, black athletes and entertainers are the faces of self-loathing to the masses. Knowing us so well, we’re good sheep. Can’t think for ourselves, but can copy other lost blackmen. This was inflicted by white slave master who would educate their mulatto offspring–and when you study the period of Reconstruction; the face of Black success was often almost white looking. Many of those educated mulattoes went on to start businesses and run organizations; and there is an attitude among many whites to this day that light skinned Blacks being more intelligent than dark-skinned Black people. We need to be brutally honest about “The Swirl.” Blackmen who date/marry outside the race use their mixed offspring as an alibi for their self-hatred. “Sistas and Brothas, Don’t Worry, My Baby Is Black.” This reality goes over the heads of our people. So, these negros assume they can cut sistas out of the loop. At some point, these 2 volcanic plates will make contact…Earth Quake! The mulatto issue is the real story. Well first and foremost, let me say Ms. Truth I am glad to have found your blog and I appreciate your words and passion for the black community. To all my sistas allow me to extend my heart felt apology for the actions of some black men. I understand as a black man that my life is about more than myself and everything that I do represents my mother, family, and black people by in large. It is a heavy burden but one I have accepted and embraced in its totality because I stand on the shoulders of giants who came before me. The mentality of most of these guys is reminiscent of a girl I wen to college with. She knew her boyfriend sold drugs but didn’t care as long as he spent the money on her. Many black men don’t care how most black people are treated as long as they are doing well. The solution is to let the individuals who have OJ Simpson syndrome fall by the wayside and focus on the individual who want to support and uplift our people. Any black person is free to leave the black community but, you don’t get a round trip ticket. You cannot be pro black and date interracially.

When I wrote this article, it came at the time when Don Sterling made racist comments to his supposed mixed girlfriend. I was examining the lunacy of it. How can Black players in the NBA suddenly start trying to cry racism when many of them exclusively date non-Black women? It makes no sense. They have absolutely no credibility. And I do believe that many Black men like yourself are beginning to see the light as to what Black women have been stating from the beginning.
The behavior of these men is unacceptable and intelligent Black people are not buying the “Love is Colorblind” ethos; in particular, when every chance you get, your love interest of choice is not a Black woman.
Something is up…and our microscope is well-focused.

For hundreds of years white men have LIED to their women that they are “the epitome of beauty and every man’s fantasy.” White women ran with and as sista truth says black males brought it “hook, line, and sinker.” White men created a monster, it came back to bite them in the ass, so they will have to just suck it up. This BIG LIE is also wreaking so much heartache and pain on the psyches of many black women and girls, black male/female relationships, and the black family and sommunity.
This outright and public rejection of black women and girls will also come back and bite negros in the ass as well. Black men and boys can’t complain about how evil the white man is, continue wife up their daughters, and expect black women to continue to have their (or respect for them) when a white man practice racism toward them . It just doesn’t work that way.

As black man, I agree with your statements. I find it funny when black men come with a pro black agenda then they are involved with a white woman. Any Negro with a white partner should not be listened to in regards to racial issues, they are just a joke.
In my hometown of New York City, you dont see much “swirlin” as most people date/marry within their racial backgrounds (despite its diversity, New York City is very segregated and racist) but here and there you see it. I heard the West Coast like Los Angeles is the center of swirl movement, lol.

Great post! Black love is self love because if we don’t love ourselves, who will? I think that most Black American men and Black men in the West who date outside of their race because of self hatred and buying into White supremacy. There are always exceptions to the rule though. When they choose and prefer non Black women over Black women, they are subliminally saying that White women are better. And their inferiority complexes and weak mindness is why they always put down Black women and blame us for why they date outside of their race. They can’t owe up to their insecurities. I am very glad you addressed this topic because that is what I go through with Black men of my generation. They are so into non Black, mixed and light skin women that they don’t give me much airplay unless I dress up really nicely. It bothers me.
I think these men are traitors to our race! I can’t keep this inside of me anymore. Many if not most Black American men and Black men in the West don’t protect Black women from attacks from racist Whites in the media or online, don’t take care or care about their children, out down Black women endlessly, practice misogyny and colorism against Black women especially dark skin Black women, never try to build up or lead their communities, are behind ALL RACES AND GENDERS in education, social and economic inequality in this country and in the West! I can go on and on about this.

I work with four black men that worship non black women. They make me sick! They don’t like me too much though. I’ve told them to their face I don’t approve. The got a little pissed off! One co worker said he was shocked because I said I’ve never dated a white woman. And that I prefer black women. This FOOL was shocked! Can you believe that? I guess because here in Cali 75% of population is down with the “swirl”. Everyone wants mixed/biracial offspring. You see it all out here. Half black/Filipino,black/Asian,White/Asiam,Black/Mexican etc… It’s really getting out of hand. It’s starting to look like Brazil. I think that’s why the media promotes interracial dating/marriage in films,TV and magazines so much. Is it like that in your area? Where do you stay? I’ve been to Virginia,DC and North Carolina. I didn’t see it as much in the south.

It goes on in the South, but not on the astronomical scale you guys speak of in Cali. In my travels to other southern states (I live in SC) over the years in the malls , churchers, stores etc. most black men are with black women and vice versa and most of the children in the schools are black with a biracial here or there. While black people in the south have the same issues as blacks everywhere it just seems that in certain places (i.e., Cali, Brazil) the white supremacy braintrashing is worse, especially when it comes to the swirl.

Yeah it’s an epidemic out here. If I go to the supermarket I’ll see three or four swirl couples. It’s the norm out here. I get tired of seeing it to be honest. I guess it just depends on what area you live in. The media promotes it WAY too much in my opinion.

You know that when you ask white women what their ideal man is, the response historically is: tall, dark, and handsome.
The Donald Sterling controversy is interesting because many of the Black players protested but so many Black athletes are involved with or date/marry exclusively white women or non Black women. Why? What is the subconscious trigger for going after these women?
I think I highlighted the base issue: White Supremacy and self-hatred/inferiority complexes in Black males.
The man is the leader in the community and if you think that white people aren’t trying to preserve their race; it works when Black males leave the community/women/children; because that means NO BLACK BABIES.
People really need to take some time to educate themselves and read between the lines because there is no white man/woman on this earth that can produce US.
Black men who are married to white women are traitors and should be treated as such.

Originalwoman, well state. It all begins with that look in the mirror. When I wrote the piece; I had a lot on my mind that day (8 posts) and there was a lot that needed to be said. But the catalyst for my comments stemmed from the Don Sterling controversy. I was like…really? And then I did some research about just how many famous sports stars and other Black male celebrities are known to date and marry exclusively non-Black women. Quincy Jones has been married to 5 white women. And people think O.J. Simpson was bad. What generally happens to these men is that they fail in life and love altogether because the bottom line here is that white, Hispanic, and Asian women are not their equals–WE ARE. And there are many single white females with brown children who are learning for themselves what Black women know all too well what happens when you lay up with a Black man with a weak mind and one who lacks maturity, character, and spiritual growth.

KP you have spoken the truth. Some have serious problems. I swear one was going out of his way to be seen by me in the supermarket the other day. I saw him with his subhuman when I entered. Proceeded about my business as I devote no energy to such. But dude WANTED me to see him/them and I purposely ignored them. Why did dude find himself next to me in at least 3 different isles of the market, then at checkout as well? As we walked out my husband came to get the bags from me – all of a sudden dude picked up his pace in the opposite direction with subhuman stumbling to keep up.

Dysfunctional behavior ,pure and simple! “the hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world” is the old adage, BUT sadly, Black women have simply given up and adhered to trifling behavior just like Black men!
We see countless young black women dressing LIKE men( sagging pants, men’s hairstyles, wearing tight shirts that appear to flatten the outline of their own breasts–“then” they start physically engaging in DATING relationships with other black women- as the “dude”.
Then sadly are those women who think they must be the LOUDEST,UGLIEST acting people in the room, or the ones who call themselves a “bad B*tch” in public and happily ridicule their kids as sorry ass “n*ggas and b*tches”.
LADIES- from a “real black man”- SAY NO to thug men! Say NO to bad mouthing each other in public! SAY NO to being an unwed mommy( birth control is easily obtainable), SAY NO to any man, Black or White, who don’t have the basic RESPECT for you. And SAY NO to the “lie” of lesbian relationships as an “alternative option” to the pain of negative relationships- IF you can’t find a decent man, what makes you think you will find a “decent woman”? Look to heal yourself and learn what has gone wrong in your relationships, guarantee you that you contributed or condoned some of the negative issues.
