Yesterday, while watching CNN, some friends of mine and I discussed the bizarre nature of a woman of color dating or marrying a racist.
The Donald Sterling controversy provoked this discussion and we all agreed that there is something extremely wrong and strange for a woman to be in a relationship with a man who hates what she is, but sleeps with her.
I’m calling out the gold-digger V. Stiviano. Stiviano was born Maria Vanessa Perez in October 1982 in Los Angeles, but successfully petitioned to change her name to V. Stiviano in 2010. There’s no explanation for what the name means, but her stated reason in the court filing was, “Born from a rape case and having yet been fully accepted because of my race.” This in and of itself indicates some type of psychological issues that have yet to be resolved but what is very strange is for a woman this young to seek out the attention of an old 80 year old white man who hates Black people. She also has a history of seeking out older men for money–GOLDDIGGER!
In March, Sterling’s wife, Rochelle, sued Stiviano, claiming she received more than $2.5 million in lavish gifts from the Clippers owner and they needed to be returned. A big piece of the suit involves a duplex Stiviano purchased in December for nearly $1.8 million with money that Rochelle Sterling claims Stiviano received from her husband. Stiviano’s name appears on the deed, and Rochelle Sterling is asking a judge to transfer the property to her and her husband.
All I can say is that it’s very strange.
This woman identified herself as being half Black and half Hispanic.
Some people, including myself are questioning this woman’s behavior. What kind of mind does she have? Does she have any self-respect? On the tape, she actually said that she wished she could change her skin color, responding to Donald Sterling’s ranting about posing with Black people in photos posted on Instagram.
No self-respecting Black woman would allow herself to be insulted this way nor would she tolerate her culture to be defamed as this. Only a stupid one–and dare I claim such a woman as a sistah!
I certainly do not claim V. Stiviano or whomever she is, but she got herself the 15 minutes of fame she craved.
But the microscope has most definitely been turned on her as it should be.
