Alright.

Where were you when this classic album came out?

It jumped out of the radio, boom boxes, cd players, and clubs.

This is real Hip Hop.

Enjoy it!

I stopped listening to Hip Hop two years ago because I was so tired of it. Now I listen to Classic Rock such as Led Zeppelin, Queen, Deep Purple etc, Motown acts such as the Supremes, Michael Jackson, Reggae and ol’ school R&B such as Otis Redding, Chaka Khan, 1980s Pop etc.

Ol’ school Rap is good but at least it is better than the Rap music out today but honestly Rap music isn’t my thing. I prefer R&B, Reggae, 1980s Pop and Classic Rock.

I love ATCQ! They are REAL hip hop! Kids today don’t know what real hip hop really is. I grew up listening to Public Enemy,X Clan,Sistah Souljah,KRS ONE,Jungle Brothers and Queen Latifah(when she rapped). Those were the glory days of rap music.

      So did I.

Just yesterday I was thinking about the condition of Rap/Hip Hop today. It’s been kidnapped and abused for far too long.

Time for the East to make a big comeback!

Yeah that would be cool. My favorite rappers right now are Stahhr,NaeAhnk,Kalik Scientific,Sa Roc, Kil Ripkin,Dead Prez, and Precise Science. I like mostly underground rappers. Most of the mainstream rappers aren’t saying much. Except for maybe Talib Kweli and Mos Def. That’s about it.
