Tight music (Timbaland). Great cast. Interesting plots. All the ingredients for a hit show.
Well, if you haven’t already…you’ve got to catch Fox’s new soap drama, starring Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard.
Right out of the ball park, it hit a home run with viewers and this blogger. Love the look of the show. It’s a nail biter and bold.
The ratings were so high for the first two shows, Fox already approved the go-ahead for a second season. That’s unprecedented.
Just when I was getting bored with Scandal…this came right on time.
Look out, Shonda Rhimes…
Wonderful work! That is the kind of info that are meant to be shared
across the net. Shame on Google for not positioning this submit upper!
Come on over and seek advice from my web site .

I for one like the show, I get where Kushite is coming from but then again from my perspective it gives you a realistic insight to the music industry and those of us who are caught up in it

The music industry is ruthless and filled with people who will do anything for fame. That part of it is very realistic.

I have watched both episodes and the I find it entertaining, but is this the kind of show we want in this climate? I won’t complain about it, but I want to see Black folk running businesses that don’t involve coonin’. As a show I mean.

It’s different. Really. They went there. Note: of course, gay ass Lee Daniels had to employ his politics in the show (gay son). I’m so sick of these people…I just am at a point of confrontation by any means necessary.

Lee Daniels is a homosexual that hates black people. He pushes negative stereotypes of black people in every film he does. He makes me sick! I hated The Butler as well. Empire is also produced by a white man,Danny Strong. Once more, a “black story” told through white eyes. The actors are very talented but they are promoting death and destruction. One son acts like an ignorant gangsta rapper. One is a flaming homosexual. And the oldest son is married to a gold-digging white whore. And Cookie plays the brash, loud gangsta mother just released from prison. This is black life???? This is all we as a people represent???? And a white boy is writing it too??! Please!! And black people eat this shit up!! We love wallowing in ignorance and self destruction. Just because some white folks tell us some show is good doesn’t mean it is. We have to be wiser and realize that shows that promote, drugs, colorism, homosexuality, violence are NOT good for us. It’s mind pollution plain and simple.

After reading your comment Prince, I can only re-state that I am so very glad that I don’t own a TV. I wouldn’t watch what sounds like filth for all the gold stolen from Fort Knox!
