Ladies and gentleman, this morning while checking the post comments, I ran across this comment from a white poster. I write a lot of topics on this blog, but there are times when a response comes from somone that is just “priceless”. Rather than taking up more space with my reaction, I’ll just post what I wrote to her, and invite you all to respond to her as well:
“We are not “looking for a cure” we’re looking for love, and thats what makes US better than You. I’m not sure how I ended up here on this “blog”. I was browsing and something I clicked/searched led me here. I started reading a post about white single mothers of biracial children. Then, out of curiosity (as well as disgust) I began browsing. This is by far the most racist personal blog I have ever come across. As a white woman and SINGLE mother to a biracial child I was truly disturbed. My daughter’s father is black and has been one of my best friends since we were 15 years old. Our careers took us in different places and he lives across the country now, but we do our best to co-parent. You are EXACTLY what we are raising our daughter NOT to be. While out in public as a family we have fallen victim to countless stares and negative comments regarding our relationship and our child, all of which have come from black women. All ages. It pains me. As a strong woman, it pains me that their is so much hate towards a fellow female simply because she didn’t see color and the product of that colorless love was a beautiful child. I am raising my daughter to be a good human being, to be not only a strong black woman (like her amazing grandmother) but a strong woman just in general. To teach her that, sadly, racism still exists and it will never go away. To teach her to treat and love everyone the same no matter what their race/religious background is. To teach her that people like you still exist. Which is the saddest part of all. May you find peace, and let go of whatever caused you to have so much hate. You are no better than those disgusting “white trash, redneck folks”. Racism is racism no matter what color you are.

Many whites who’ve strayed over to my blog, to act as some kind of intrusive commentators on the content, have quickly found out very fervently, that I am an intelligent Black woman who is more than capable of discerning the world and its participants from a spiritual as well as social level.

Frankly, I’m tired of the issues with biracial people. They are physical representation of taboo relationships between Black and white people. Given the history of this country regarding race/racism, biracials are not a product of pride but mistakes made from self-hatred, ignorance, cultural curiosity, and escapism.

The majority of them have brown skin, dark eyes, curly hair, a flat nose like a black person, full lips and the appearance of a black person how do we recognize them as whites? You have to forgive me, but I usually expect Black people to discern how most Black people express themselves, but for those who just are too slow to understand “where I’m coming from” I’ll just be blunt: Black people who are confused about their identity typically have learned that from their PARENTS. If one of the parents is a white man/woman and does not explain to their biracial offspring the truth about racists, racism, and white supremacy, typically, those biracial children develop negative attitudes toward Black people.
Basically, as a proud African American woman, I’m tired of other people’s mess becoming integrated into my community.

The study basically discusses what exactly is going on with Amanda Bitcher and soooo many racist white women raising non-white children. I remember one point that stood out clearly to me; the biracial young adults who participated in the study said that their white mothers DID NOT LIKE BLACK PEOPLE, DID NOT LIKE THEIR BLACK FATHERS, and WOULD NOT TALK ABOUT RACISM (WHITE SUPREMACY).
In addition, I had read some of my fellow Black bloggers and followers as well as Black People offline say that they have had biracial people report to them that their racist white mamma don’t want to discuss (racism) white supremacy and the self-hating Black daddy is often passive about it. I remember a young biracial man called in to an episode of the context of white supremacy blog talk radio show and he specifically said that ALL of the whites including his white family (including his white mother) that he encountered in his lifetime was racist. He then went on to say he DOES NOT EVER WANT to be in any serious relationship with a white woman because he saw how it damaged his dad. His dad thought his white mamma would be what some of us in the blogosphere say his “soothing lotion” against racism (white supremacy). These biracial people have to go to Black People to get clarity on what’s going on with White people and the way Bitcher is, best believe her children will one day have to do the same.

Sometimes, I think this is by design, O. Really…look at it: White women…in droves, going after Black men. Why? 60 years ago, Black men could have been lynched, just looking at a white woman, now…all of a sudden, it’s cool to date/marry them? Uh-uh. Something is up. I feel that racism today has been refined to look as though it doesn’t exist, but the duality here is that perhaps, given the propensity of white men to hate their women and exploit them; perhaps it’s some sick type of white supremacist scheme, to destroy the Black male, albeit, prison doesn’t get them first.

Saying your husband doesn’t see color just proves his ignorance regarding the struggle of Black people. He is brainwashed into not seeing color. Every person is free to date whoever he wants, but saying thing like “I don’t see color” is outrage to Black people given what have happened and still happens today in the world. Black people are discriminated for the color of their skin because europoids try to convince the world they are superior. This is lie! You just have to see your skin through UV and you’ll understand that melanin is a priceless gift.
Some black people are trying to improve their position in white supremacy in denying the reality of the conditions of Black people. This is the case of your coward husband and his entourage.

Amanda’s comments show us why it’s important for the Black man TO STAY HOME. Those white think the mixed kids are better than actual Black people. They will teach their kids to deny blackness because in their mind anything that goes away from blackness is considered progress. If you really love your black husband, why do you think mixed kids are better than Black people? Please don’t define the beauty and worth of our people using Eurocentric standard of beauty. It doesn’t work that way!
If ones are able to love one another without the filter of white supremacy, self hatred and white/mixed people feeling they are superior than Black, I have no fight with that. However if ones are using their ‘interracial’ love/lust situation as an escape from racial oppression or from being ‘lumped’ in with the ‘losing’ side, I take great exception to that. I have to say that there is a great propensity in many to downgrade the opposite gender of their own race in many who make the choice to date inter-racially. In the end I would have to say that many people in this situation are sweet and naive or silly and foolish enough to think mixing together will solve the race problem and therefore compound it by creating a new group who think they are better than the denigrated group which are Africans, you have seen this played out countless times in history like for instance the Haitian Revolutions (I’m haitian) where the ‘mulattoes’ (term used at the time for the mixed) fought against the enslaved Africans after being rejected as ‘equals’ by the whites. In the current situation these unions do nothing to advance the cause of African liberation or advance us in general, nor would I expect them to. Now the decision to love yourself first and foremost by reflecting that in your conscious choice to live black and love black, that most definitely has positive outcomes in our families and communities.
Mixing does not uplift black people and it never will. Disappearing from the planet is not uplift for any people. Have native indigenous peoples experienced uplift from race mixing? Large scale race mixing has no benefit for any race. The fact that black would desire such a thing as mixing with their oppressor everywhere on the planet is a sad thing. My people are throwing up the white flag—the death rattle. The white race has dominated, and whipped black people in every way a person can be beaten and IR dating was encouraged in many countries (Brazil etc.) to whiten (purify) their population. Smh!
Some Black men have high standard when it comes to date a Black woman but will gladly date ANY (I say ANY) non black woman while the white woman expects the black man to be THIS or THAT to be interested in him. This is one of the biggest problem of our community. Black men will say they don’t see color but seek for the ‘trophy wife’. It was always only a matter of time when black-white debate would lead to a white person throwing out, “Well, if you ‘negroes’ have so much pride, why do almost all of your ‘highly educated’ men and celebrities only chase white women?.” Too many Black people are ass-kisser of white (They are like coconut or oreo cookies, ie “blacks with white souls”) and this blog is an exception.

Barack H. Obama is a good example of this–what’s he done for Black people? Nothing? What do we demand from him? He feels no obligation to recognize our needs, using his reasoning as not wanting to be the “Black President.” Hell, we ordained Bill Clinton as the First Black President, ironically, not having any problems addressing our needs, albeit, being a white man.
